Wedding Hair and Makeup Contract
This Wedding Services Contract (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of (Insert Date of Agreement) (the “Effective Date”) by and between Vanity Ink Artistry (“Contractor”) and {{Client Name}} (“Client”).
Engagement of Services
Client hereby engages and retains Vanity Ink Artistry to provide certain services and agrees to receive such services, as mutually agreed upon by Client and Contractor.
Compensation and Policies
- Client agrees to pay the invoice on the agreed-upon due date stated on the final invoice sent. Payment made after that date will incur a late fee of 5.0% per day on the outstanding amount. Contractor will be reimbursed for expenses related to the services, which are approved by the Client in Client agrees to a $30.00 fee per 30 minutes if the client (not due to the contractor) starts services past the agreed-upon time. Day of payment as well as check and cash are not permitted.
- If the client is late and the service cannot be completed due to timing, no refund will be given. A full-service fee will be added if a client arrives with wet hair without booking that service in
- Upon termination of this Agreement for any reason, the Client will pay Contractor the full amount due if the cancellation occurs within 90 days of the agreed-upon service date, and no refunds of any deposits or payments will be given. Any agreed-upon services must be paid for and cannot be canceled within 90 days of the wedding
- The Client will pay Contractor a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total estimated services to confirm the Once the deposit is received, the booking is confirmed. Client acknowledges that the card used to pay the deposit will be held on file for any additional charges or late fees and must be an active working card.
- Exceptions to termination are global pandemics, death, natural events, or illness. All terminations will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are at the discretion of the Contractor. The Client acknowledges that no refunds will be given if services are canceled on the day of the wedding, but another person is able to take the service that has been paid for. Client agrees that the number of services and the address in this agreement are correct, and any changes must be made via email and confirmed by the contractor.
- Changes to services cannot be made within 60 days of the wedding. The client can find someone else to fill the empty spot or pay for the services in full. The date can be rescheduled only if availability aligns with the Contractor’s schedule, and no refunds will be given if the Contractor is not available.
- Refunds will be at the discretion of Vanity Ink Artistry. Payment will be due five days before the wedding day, with a final invoice sent 10-7 days before the due date. Payments will not be accepted on the wedding If payment is not made, the agreement will be voided, and services will not be executed.
Day-Of Services Policies
Client agrees to the following policies:
- Arrival: The client must arrive with dry hair and clean skin (unless discussed prior). If the contractor has to blow-dry or remove makeup, a fee may Please ensure that the space where services are being performed is available at the scheduled time, and the client has full knowledge of how to access said space.
- Space and Equipment: The client must provide a clean and safe working environment for the contractors, with ample space, lighting, and If any equipment or personal belongings of the contractor(s) are damaged due to the client, the client assumes full responsibility for paying for the damages at the price point paid by the contractor. The client understands that all products are owned by each individual artist and are individually sanitized and cannot be touched or used by anyone other than the artist. Any products that are deemed unusable due to cross-contamination (at the fault of the client or anyone assumed by the client) will be charged to the client. If children are present, it is important that they are supervised diligently by an adult and cannot be running around or touching any of the equipment. Children under the age of 5 will not be serviced with hot tools.
- Completion of Services: Services will be completed to the client’s satisfaction. Acceptance of the completed services is verbal acknowledgment by the client that they are satisfied with the services If the services are not completed to the client’s satisfaction and the client does not inform the contractor while the contractor is performing services, the service will not be refunded or disputed.
- Parking and Location: In the instance that parking fees are necessary, they will be billed either before or after the appointment. If valet service is offered, the contractor must valet. Valet charges will be billed to the room given to the contractor by the The contractor must park close to the vicinity of the “getting ready location” and will not relocate during the duration of the services unless compensated and discussed in advance. If the contractor has to relocate, a $100 fee will be charged. If desired, touch-up time can be arranged, and an hourly fee will be applied.
- Holiday Fees and Early Morning fees: $200 will be added to any bookings on the following dates: Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, and Memorial A $100 Early morning fee will be applied to any wedding with a start time earlier than 6:30 AM. A $200 fee will be applied if the start time is before 2:00 AM.
Cancellation or Emergency
Contractor agrees that in the event of a personal emergency preventing the stylist from reaching the location, a full refund will be issued to the client. Contractor will attempt to find coverage if available; if not, a full refund will be administered. If the client is sick or shows visible signs of illness that make the contractor uncomfortable to perform services, and no prior discussion is had, the client will not receive a refund. The contractor cannot legally work on or near any open or healing wounds, sores, lice, or any visible signs of illness.
Timing and Information
Client agrees that the timing information given to the contractor is accurate and will be followed on the day of services. If the client provides inaccurate information, the contractor is not at fault for any issues that arise. The client gives the contractor permission to use photos taken during the services with the client’s permission, unless stated otherwise. Photos will only be taken with the consent of the client. The contractor is not responsible for timing issues that arise out of the client(s) being late or leaving the chair while services are being performed. Clients are also subject to a late fee of $10 every 10 minutes of late arrival.
Client’s Responsibility and Contractor’s Rights
Client understands and agrees that Vanity Ink Artistry has the right to refuse service and will not issue a refund if any of the terms of this agreement are broken. This includes but is not limited to a breach of any of the policies above, physical or verbal abuse of the contractor by the client or anyone receiving services, or failure of payment. The contractor reserves the right to apply extra fees to the client at the artist’s discretion if applicable. The client assumes full responsibility for any person(s) receiving services on the day in question.
Cofidentiality
Contractor shall not disclose any of the Client’s confidential information to anyone other than its affiliates, contractors, or authorized representatives who have a need to know the information in connection with Contractor’s rendering of the services. Contractor shall exercise the same degree of care to prevent the disclosure of any Confidential Information as it takes to preserve and safeguard its own confidential information but, in any event, no less than a reasonable degree of care.
Term
The term of this Agreement will commence on the Effective Date and will continue until terminated by either party as provided herein. The Services shall commence as set forth in the agreement and will continue as provided therein or until terminated pursuant to the terms of such services or this Agreement.
Limitation of Liability
All brushes, tools, and products are cleaned and sanitized according to Florida state regulations. The client must inform the contractor of any allergies or sensitivities before beginning services. If the client fails to inform the contractor, Vanity Ink Artistry is not liable for any reactions. A patch test can be done prior to any service if needed. The client agrees to release the contractor(s) from liability for any skin reactions, damages, or any other skin-related issues.
Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed in all respects by the laws of the United States as well as the laws of the state of Florida, excluding conflicts
